Warm legs - A Pattern

Warm Legs

Size:

Adult

Gauge:

The fabric needs to be stretchy.

Materials Needed:

32 inch, 9mm circular needles, need to be long enough to do magic loop. Or 9mm DPNS
100gms of 12ply yarn. I used Bendigo Woollen Mills Rustic.
I used less than 50 gms of each yarn for the stripped version.

Notes:

Please read all instructions before starting!

Directions:

CO 30 stitches loosely.
Join in the round.
Place a stitch marker to mark beginning of round.

Round 1: (K2, P1) repeat to end.
Repeat Round 1 until warmers are desired length.

.

Striped warmers.
Work 10 rounds in colour A, (3 rounds in colour B, 3 rounds in colour A) 6 times, 3 rounds colour B, 10 rounds in Colour A.
Carry the yarn loosely between the rounds, rather than cut and rejoin.
There will be some jogging of the colour changes, but they are practically hidden by the ribbing.

Bind off, being careful to keep the edge stretchy.
Weave in ends.
